Post My new motorcycle is totaled :(
Well it was a pretty nice day here so I took the WR250x down to Lowes for some spray foam to seal the basement windows better.

As I am in Lowes they call overhead for the "Owner of motorcycle with plate XXXXXX" to come to the service desk.
I don't even stop at the service desk, I just run outside with a real bad feeling .....

Sure as dookie there is my bike underneath a stake body truck completely flattened. I mean it was seriously F'd up.

It seems this dickwad was doing some kind of K turn and didn't see my bike (which I purposely parked out of the way) in an outer spot
Not only that I guess he didn't hear it when it went down, and drove the dual wheels right up on it. :wth:

Now I just wait to see what the insurance companies have to say. I better not get screwed on this. The dam thing only had 1600 miles on it.

I had left my iPhone home so I don't have any pics, but I might go see it one last time to snap a few tomorrow.

I guess on the bright side, I could use the money more this winter than I could the bike, but I am very mad / sad right now.

Oh and my helmet was in the lock on the side of the frame so that is fubared too. I am going to have use my old one for the scooter for the next few weeks till I park it for the season.

That is the ultimate suckation. I really hope the #$%^%$#@@'s insurance company coughs up the money. Thats a nice bike theres a person here with one. I've never seen them use it but it looks sick.

Well, I've been called a lot worse. :toughguy:

ZumaScoot--go back and look at some of the prior threads where our guys have had property damage. I've pretty much detailed what you can/should do in one or more of those.

Sorry to hear about your m/c's mishap.

Thats true, nice to see some people still do the right thing !

Thanks everyone for your support. Honestly I am almost as upset about the helmet as I am about the bike.

I loved that helmet, and we have shared some good times.

cager = person who drives down the road in a metal cage! something with 4 wheels and is usually not a friend to scoots in a confrontational way!. be careful of these rolling boxes.
