Re: How did you find Zumaforums?
Google search: Honda Ruckus clubs...
everyone at work who heard I was looking for a scooter said, "buy a Honda." I was looking into it.
My Zuma 50f was delivered 5 days ago. Yay!
I have not actually even taken her out yet as I only just got my helmet, but I did make my choice heavily based on this forum and all the great and helpful posts (also because sitting on it was way more comfortable then the Ruck).

Re: How did you find Zumaforums?
I found out about this site after extensive google searches on zuma vs ruckus comparisons. I have driven both and .. totally went with a zuma (bws 50 here in Canada). Lots of information and technical help here in the forums, and it seems that it is very active as well. I hope to be able to mod my scoot soon! I'm getting more and more confident in figuring out what to tackle first as I've never worked on a carburetor or a scooter, but I am looking forward to it!

Re: How did you find Zumaforums?
Before I bought a Zuma, I did a lot of reading on various scooter forums. I leaned towards the Ruckus...But they are woefully underpowered, lack decent brakes, & way under suspended(for larger folks). I bided my time, until the right deal came along. 6 months went by, then I came across a 2005 with 83 original miles on it. With the rising prices of all motorcycles & related 2-wheeled transportation in my area, $1717.05(out the door) is an excellent buy. Even before I purchased my scooter, I had decided a 2t Zuma would be the right choice...hence my joining the forum. I originally found zumaforums via Google.

After I bought my Zuma, I began researching everything I could find about my bike. I wanted to know what to do and what not to do to maintain my scooter and keep it running fine. Forums can be great and quick sources of knowledge. I'd rather learn from you Zumathusiasts with years and years of experience instead of learning on my own the hard way. So thanks, all y'all - I appreciate the help and your time and effort you give. My Zuma is a 2003 model and is completely stock - it only had 77 miles on the odometer when I lucked into it for $750. (still had the protective plastic on the speedo...) It must have been kept inside with climate control, because it was showroom pristine - and it still runs like new. (Here's a couple pics-)
