My buddy has been looking at Zumas for his wife who's a real fatass.

I went with him and rode one. They're pretty nice but then I saw a MadAss scooter. It looks less frat boy like.

A big plus for the Zuma, as far as I am concerned, is the storage compartment the seat.

The 2-stroke engine on the Zuma will do better on hills, if that is a factor for you; but the lawnmower-like noise it makes can be an annoyance.

I borrowed a ruckus with a supertrapp exhaust once. It was very very slow and very very loud! It "The SUX"...

Looks real cool tho...

ZUMA - It will be hard to get any other opinion since this is zumaforums.net. From someone who has owned many different scoots and bikes Yamaha makes a quality product.

Post Re: zuma or ruckus? or something else?
The ruckus is prettier to me, but it's pretty impractical. Besides, why does everyone think that 2stroke means loud and 4 stroke means quiet? My stock pipe is really quiet and when I drive next to rucks, they are noticably louder. And if the owner drilled some holes in his pipe, it's screaming.

Probably because 2 stroke dirt bikes and atvs are much louder than 4 strokes unless the 4 strokes have an aftermarket or modified exhaust. My Z50 is the quietest 2 stroke I have ever owned.

gotta go zuma... i mean just look around the forum read the posts... if youre a speed demon then zuma is def the choice dont get me wrong i like the ruckus and will have one in the future but the ruckus is more of a cool chill beach cruiser look "to me" i would cruise with the ruckus and stunt and play on the zuma and shock people with the speed... and go 70cc in the future

Do you want to go fast, or do you want to look cool?

Doesn't matter, either way get a Zuma :q:

both are good scoots. the zuma has plenty of mods available and has some storage available. the ruckus is good for those with a short leg reach. but being a zuma forum, of course we choose the zuma over the ruckus. :whip:

I like my 08 Zuma sometimes better than the C\3 and that is like the Ruckus. I do like the gas mileage better on C\3.
