Post Scooter Racing this weekend on Oct 24th
Well it is officially on. On Saturday October 24th The Green Lantern and The Thunder Zuma will do battle on the track.
This will be at Sandyhook Speedway in Street Maryland .Gates open at 10am (you can get in at 9am) practice is till noon and then Racing till 5:00pm.
There is a $10 charge at gate per vehicle not per person.
There are many classes to race in for Scooters , Mini Motards , YSR's , Nsr's , Pocketbikes and Karts
from Amature to Pro and Stock to modified. There is a charge for racers and this covers racing in any or all classes.

There are some rules for Riders gear and some rules for the machines. Any questions please contact Tommy Thunder at 410-549-1991 or 301-351-7330 or email me at zumatommy@yahoo.com
All are invited to race or just come out and watch all the racing events.
There is a consesion stand that sells food and drink but come prepared.

This is a great track to race at . If you have never raced before this is the place to start. There is no pressure and the rules are minimal. Just have to be safe.

From Balto: 95 North to exit for Rt 543. Make left at light. Go to Rt. 1 and make a right.Go approximately 5 miles and turn left on Sandy Hook Road. Go 1 mile to stop sign and bear left. Track is on the right.

From PA: Rt. 1 South into Maryland. Go across Conowingo Dam. Go approximately 6 miles and turn right onto Sandy Hook Road. Go 1 mile to stop sign and bear left. Track is on the right.

Please lets all help make this one of the best east coast scooter race tracks out there. We have a great team and are looking for more members. You can race anything in the list not just scooters. So if you got some machines to race bring them out.
You can see some rules and track stuff at http://scooterthunderz.wordpress.com/ just goto race day rules on right sidebar menu . Not all these rules apply at Sandyhook.

Oh yea and Green Lantern , Lets show them some great racing. I am looking foward to it.

Thanks Tommy Thunder

Looks like a fun track.I think in a 10 lap race you will beat that zumakus by about 3/4 track so almost lapping him.It looks like it got elevation change by the picture and that will kill the ruck.
