Post Re: Not much action.... don't people still buy Zuma's?
The only reason I still own my Zuma is so I can modify it.

I would like a flat floorboard and I desperately want a flat seat. When I pull my Zuma apart this coming week I will see if I can do a quick floor board fix. If not I will pull it off and use some type of bracket, bondo and longer screws to make it flat. I am going to cut a few holes in the plastic under the seat and glue a piece of fiberglass or plexy glass to direct air towards the engine. The second I am driving my car again I will take off the seat cover, add foam to level the seat and add a thin piece in the shape of a flame so it sticks out when I reupholster the seat possibly using the back of a thrift store jacket depending on fabric prices :D

Pig I assume your 2010 80cc Zuma is a four stroke. What is the power like on that thing? Is it still mediocre or is it almost comparable to a 70cc sport Zuma?

No it's a 2t. It's a fully built liquid cooled, 86cc hyper race motor with current top speed of 81 mph.

What tail lights are those? That is exactly the rear style of indicators I want.

Scoot-tuning.ca had them made a few years ago, but I don't think they're available any more. You could always email or call them

hello guys and gals

Who says people don't buy Zumas ? I bought one last June 9th, its a 2017 Zuma 125 and it is my very first bike ! It has about 1800 miles on it (300 miles per month scooting all over town in 6 months). I am senior and its fun when safe to do so. I bought it as it was all I can afford on fixed income !!

I'm one of the guilty non-posters/inactive members. I bought my Zuma in 2011, joined the forum for info and never posted. Stopped coming to the forum once I had things the way I liked. A couple years later ('13) I moved and had to commute on a highway so I got a motorcycle and stopped riding the scoot. My account eventually disappeared.
I've since moved again and am back on the scooter, have re-registered here on the forum, and have decided to be an active poster now (although it's a little self-serving since my scoot is almost 10 years old now and I'm having to replace/upgrade components :D )

I just bought a prebug. Not really doing anything but cleaning it right now. Canadian winters, to much salt. But I do have a box of mods to do when I start riding

And I am a newbie, just having purchased a used 2015 Zuma 125 with 147 miles on it! I am always needing to add farkles and updates to my scoots to make them different from the next one. Now I am waiting for my new pipe from RC Scooters to get out and ride when the sun comes back out. Mine came with K & N filter, cut off rear shovel, LED taillight, Big Gun pipe and controller, dual headlight conversion with 45w bulbs, and probably something I am forgetting.
