Post Introducing Myself
Hey everyone,

Live in Ogden, Utah. Just north of Salt Lake City. Been on dirt bikes since I was about 7 years old and love anything with a motor and 2 wheels. My primary passion is motocross but I also ride an SV650 and most recently a Zuma 50 I swooped up from an online classified for $100. Loving the Zuma life and can't wait to get a little deeper. A second Zuma is on the immediate horizon.

Welcome, I like your zuma's colour scheme. You bought it running for only one hundred dollars?!

Not quite, but not far off either. Mostly it was missing components, picture below is what it looked like when I got it.

New seat cover
Painted the side covers
Replaced missing components
New Battery
New tank, the old one was REALLY rusty
Cleaned out the carb, it was all gummed up with ethanol gunk.

Other than that, everything worked. Starter motor works, good compression, all of the lights and brakes functioned perfectly.

I'm all into it roughly $350. I was blown away by how cheap all of the plastic/body components are. I thought ebay would be the place but people want way more than just ordering them OEM from Yamaha. SO almost all of the parts I ordered new.

Looks like a fun project. I am nearly ready to take my engine to the power washer before I paint it.
