Post Hey
Why hello everyone I hope all is well, so I was watching some videos on zuma tuning so on so forth, and chatting up with some knowledgeable people. I will bbk my 04 zuma in the future, right now I am thinking yasuni pipe and 1500 rpm contra and yellow clutch springs; my question I know a stocker can't rev that high, will the stiffer springs even help me gain any mph. I have been talking to people and they say it is a great way to go, but I was watching a video on a seller's web site and they seem to have added a variotor also to this adly. I am hitting 32mph on flats stock everything and bopper tires, want more umph but reliability on this bike is a must. Or will I also need a new variator too basically. Sorry my grammar is terribad.....

I also have a 2004 .
Stock when i bought i would touch 39.
Cleaning carb changing gear oil pumping up tires to proper inflation.
I started to creep to 41mph .
Then slapped a low reving pipe wild lion pipe it helps low end acceleration more than top end .
With that pipe I left cvt alone .
I now hit 43 on a good day wind free day on flats .
Bbk is my winter project .
I looked at the yasuni r and z and i may still get one of those for more top end .
The current stock cylinder may limit the full out put of the pipe but you should still see a few mph because it will rev higher.
When you upgrade to a bbk the pipe and bbk will be a closer match to rpm max and you should see further acceleration and top end .
Just do one piece at a time either bbk or pipe and enjoy the results go slower on the variator and springs .
You will eventually need rollers or slider to balance the cvt to let it rev closer to where band of pipe and cylinder.
The clutch springs let you rev higher before the clutch bites helping with take off does nothing for top end .
