Post Questions on Dr.Pulley sliders
Do they really do as much as people say they do? and if so, what kind of gains could you expect? What weight is stock and what weight would i use with a stock variator? (15x12) How much do they cost anyway? TIA :toot:

They last longer & They have a longer / time to shift. They tend to react slightly lighter than there weight. They cost + 2x more. But when you find the Magic Weight, worth every penny. I get mine at Treatland. I buy them heavy. I then take a carbide burr & remove some weight material. I use a scale to verify & balance there weights.

Post Re: Questions on Dr.Pulley sliders
sliders are great if doing mostly highway riding or at consistent speeds.

if riding in the city with constant speed changes, stick with the rollers.

So, for someone riding stock, 190 lbs, 85% full throttle driving... what weights should be used?

Depends entirely on your setup.

ETA: I just saw my fail, you said stock. In that case I would suggest they aren't worth the extra money.

Even if you were talking about more comprehensive vario tuning than just playing with the rollers, you're not going to see significant performance gains.
