Post YAMAHA ZUMA BUGEYE 50 - build combo
hey everyone, ive just bought a 2004 zuma 50 that is being called "fully built" and have the specs on whats been done to it. ive rode it and love it vs a stock zuma and now my dad wants the same setup for his stock zuma. it has a "70cc Malossi dual ring piston kit, technigas rs pipe, technomoto variator, malossi reed cage, malossi finned pulley, delta clutch, Malossi kevlar belt, and 16/40 drive gears" per an email from the guy who built it. what im wondering is if there are any other things that you all would recommend or parts to be swapped out of this combo before i order another combo just like this. i feel like a larger carb would be nice to have too but im relatively new to scooter modding.

Thanks in advance,

Might be best for
You to get a matching combo so the power band of
The part matches. Some pipes power peaks at different times and your
Top end of not a high reving top end so a large carb won’t help you. If anything a polini cp 21mm would be the largest I’d go. But it’s best to. Check with the scooter turd shop and see what packages they got. I like the polini corsa tip end or the mxs top ends the most for a daily driver on a zuma and having a good over all power band. I think those guys are at a event this week so I’d get ahold of them next week and just tell them what kind of driving you go and if mpg or mph more important and a reliable or race build. Low end or top end power. That will make the difference in the type of parts you get.
