Post Did I seize my new bbk
Was on my second ride today after getting my zuma running again and it died while going around 35mph. I had been crushing for about 2 miles at roughly 3/4 throttle most of the ride. It's started back up after a few kicks, but the first kick didn't feel right. I'm running a 92 main in my 17.5 dellorto carb and what ever pilot came with the new carb. I'll post some pics of my plug so someone with a better eye for a lean condition can help. Thanks

Just a pic of a used plug is worthless because it's been painted through all throttle ranges
Look up plug chop you need to do several proper chops to see what the plug looks like at 1/3 2/3 and wot

Finally got around to doing plug chops and I was lean. Ended up with a 98 main and richening the needle. Now I'm on to messing with the tranny. Anyone know of a cheap tachometer that actually works. Ordered one of amazon and it's junk.

I would recommend the trail tech TTO, that way you get an hour meter and clock too. If your really looking to tune your carb perfectly then get a temp and EGT gauges. These gauges take out a lot of the guess work involved in tuning and make it safer as well. Good luck on the build bud.
