Post DROW MOTORSPORTS REVIEW - scooter part
I've Bought from them a few times over the past Few Years and Had a good results. I usually order from Spmoto 90% of the time. Dr@w had a PWK needle kit I needed and I needed a few parts and they had some of them so when placing a order I decided to just order it all from them. I got the Package in time and it was packed Well and everything was great but 1 item.

str8 PWK carburetor Float Bowl.

it was not a huge Amount it was $18.99 but not super cheap either. Well the brass tube inside was loose which is not a big deal but the angle at which the tube lays is not correct it and bending it is not a option, the plastic mounting location is what caused the issue. so I contacted Dr@w and talked to one of the guys there and they said to email them photos which I was planning on doing once I got a email address to send them to. I asked them since its a defect and I would have to ship back for a replacement part or refund would I have to pa for freight. he said yes that will be out of pocket expense. So for me by the time I go down to a post office taking off work pay $6 or so to ship this back to them I might as well just forget about it. the employee at dr@w said its in there Return policy.

Now Spmoto for which I buy more from and im happy I do because ive got a few items in the past that had issues and no questions ask they had me ship it back and email them a copy of the shipping price and they gave a full refund once the part made it back with no restocking fee, there take on it is its not my fault there was a defect with the item and they want to make sure they give there customers great service so they keep coming back to buy.

So the Final on this is im just going to keep the bowl as a reminder never to buy from Dr@w and people should consider what happen before buying from them that you own it.

I've spent a ton of money with Drow. I'm really surprised they won't give you a refund. And I do agree with you that if they sold you a defective part they should make it right at no cost to you, because it's already costing you time.

I too think they should pay for the shipping if it's a defective part, but why don't you just ship it first class in an old padded envelope for a couple of bucks?

I have also spent a lot of money with them but they've given me free shipping on so much stuff, that I wouldn't care. That's not to say that I don't understand your frustration.

whats the reason for the blue bowl, which I would think turn green because of the fuel staining it at least my blue fuel lines end up turning green

because last I remember the carb isnt that visible on the zuma depending on what filter and body plastics used
is it to see if the bowl is full at a glance for whatever reason

Not to create any further DRAMA ... DrowSports sounds shady with not paying for the item to be sent back but that is just me.

hahahahahaha

Seriously, if this were ebay I'd give Drow 0% positive feedback for the two or three times I've ordered parts from them.

Especially in a small community like scoot tuners in the US, reputation is everything. Companies should keep that in mind. Not having this thread on the internet is worth more than $18 to Drow, only they didn't realize it. If it puts off even one potential customer, that's money lost. Love it or hate it, that's the modern world.

And I'll add that I think if the company is going to respond, they shouldn't accuse the customer of fücking up and lying about it. Say nothing, or show how awesome you are. :patriot:

That's how I feel. If i treated customers like that I would not be employed for long. It would only take a few bad surveys and I'd be out the door. Thank you for understanding how I feel.

I'm grateful to have Drow around too, even if their selection and stock is misrepresented on the sight. But they dropped the ball on this one.

I do agree that if your part is defective ... the vendor (DrowSports or any other) should be responsible for the whole transaction.

I think that's the gist of what's being said.
