 OTR: FLAWLESS' dash clock DIY
I wasn't about to pay $50+ for a motorcycle clock. Plus, the chrome doesn't match anything on my Zuma. So here's what I did: I searched for a water resistant wrist watch that I thought matched well. I was going to go digital, but Summer and I both agreed this one looks better, like a gauge. Got it at Target for $15. With the Dremel, I used the cutoff wheel, then the sanding drum, then the fine (260 grit) sanding disc, and finally the polishing wheel with rouge to remove the four pieces that held the band on. You can't tell they were ever there Apply some 3M STRONG double sided tape and cut around it with the Exacto knife: And you have a nice day/night clock that matches pretty well!

Re: OTR: FLAWLESS' dash clock DIY
very nice. The one i used came as a clip on watch with a carabiner, so there was much less to remove with the grinder. I went with one that has a mini compass too.

Where I come from it's always 4:20 so I guess I don't need a clock but that one sure looks GREAT on your scooter!

Re: OTR: FLAWLESS' dash clock DIY
Flawless, I just went to target and got it. but i paid 19.99 :/ i removed the wristband and grinded down the points.
But i don't have that 3m double sided tape. I need to go get it. I have this crazy Industrial Adhesive, but i don't want to use, cause it permanently glues w/e to w/e. when its time to change the batt it won't come off.
Oh, also i'm going to put it on the Left side of the guage panel. i'll post a pic when i'm done.
BTW. what's 4:20???

BTW. what's 4:20??? Awesome! I thought of putting it on the left but liked the other side. Maybe I paid 19.99 now that I think of it. Summer had me get some curtains and I got out of there for just under $250! P.S. 420 is law enforcement code for marijuana.

4:20 is NOT a code for law enforcement! Where the hell did you get that from? You don't know what you are talking about and obviously don't burn! And if you don't know what 4:20 is by now then I don't know what culo your head has been up inside of the last 20 years??!! LMAO....a law enforcement code, that's a new one!
