Post Oil Change Tool Zuma 125
I have a Zuma 125 (2016). Do you use a socket wrench to remove the oil drain plug -- and if so what size is it?

The oil drain plug has a pretty odd design, one that prohibits you from using a regular wrench. (This plug is underneath the engine facing down to the ground.)

O, and it looks like the main oil has two oil drain plugs. One opens up off to the side. Is that true? When you change the oil do you open both of them up or can you open just one?

the bottom plug is actually a plug for the fine mesh oil pump screen. It has a spring and a plastic collar with a mesh screen attached. It should be cleaned out with gas or break parts cleaner every few oil changes. It requires a socket prolly 14 or 15 mm and a ratchet to remove the cover.

The primary oil drain plug is located on the CVT side of the crankcase.

Most of the zuma's socket sizes are from 15mm, 12mm, 10mm, 11mm and some 8mm at any rate its a metric socket. If you plan on doing regular maintenance just get yourself a small set of these Metric sockets so you can tinker.

Edit: went back and checked the manual. It doesn't indicate what size it is, but like I said just get you some metric sockets and you will find out real quick. simple drain in a pan. put cap and screen back on and fill her up.

17mm socket.

it's spring loaded so don't over tighten it.
