Post Save yourself some headaches
My 155 Zuma with 22,000 miles on it had some symptoms that confused me and inconvenienced me a couple of times, but turned out to be easily remedied.

-Hard starts with lots of cranking and throttle finessing.
-Sometimes not starting.
-Engine would die after hard stop from WOT.
-Engine would die at first stop sign about 1/4 mile from home.
-Under a heavy load, (going over causeway, two up, full throttle), engine died, never would start until after being trucked home. I pulled the ignition fuse, but it wasn't popped as I thought it may be, cleaned started, which made me think I had found the problem.
But no...........symptoms continued, intermittently, as usual.
This Zuma's fuel pump had been replaced under recall, but I (finally!) started thinking fuel pump problems. But I'm one of those who looks for the easiest fix first, so I started with gas cap venting.
After taking gas cap apart, I really couldn't tell if there was a venting system to clean, but I did notice that the seal mechanism didn't slide up and down as it should. Adding together that the cap was getting harder to latch and the lack of venting, I simply oiled up the moving parts.

NOW.............gas cap latches easily, and the Zuma is back is back to starting and running crisp and clean!
Don't know if anyone else has experienced this, but do yourself a favor.
