Post Rear Rack and oil
I have 09 C3 YF50YS
What oil do you use ? The book said 10 w 30 or 10 w 40 is that same oil you buy for your car ?

Is it hard to instil rear rack ? I'm thinking of buying one.

Thank you

Ty

Yes, same oil as you buy for your car. Make sure you use mineral oil (non-synthetic) for the first 600 miles or whatever the break-in period is for the C3. After that, you can use whatever.

The rear rack should be easy to install if you know how to use a screwdriver or a socket wrench. You'll probably need some basic tools. Otherwise, the stealership can do it (but it really is piss easy and tools are cheap!)

Agreed ... use recommended weight of 'regular' motor oil until break.in !!
It's OK to use 4-stroke oil but, not needed. You don't have a 'wet' clutch that would require it ...

After that ... you can use the full-synthetic, blended, or non-synthetic.

Some people I know use nothing but full-synthetic, 4-stroke motor oil for the whole scoot. Engine & tranny ... after break.in.

When you get that said scoot to 6000 miles get your drive belt replaced cause thats when they think it should be replaced. I went 7,000 on my 07 . It now has 10,033 miles on it now.
