Well i bit the bullet and just ordered the same NYC adjustable torque driver. seemed like the right thing to do for $25 :q:
My 2005 td has almost 25,000 ks and has major flat spots in the acceleration.

Post Re: Firehawk989's '05 BWS Build
Been a long time since I was last here, probably cause the scoot has been running great the whole time!

It's at 35,000km now, and I just recently changed the cyl. Not because it was worn out, but because it had an exhaust bolt broken off in the flange that I didn't want to deal with, and I already had a new black trophy kit sitting around from when I thought I had blown the old one. (Was actually stripped spark plug threads causing no compression, so just changed the head and it was all good again.)

Anyway, I also recently changed the belt and noticed that I'm not quite getting my full ~85km/h top speed anymore, so I suspect it's finally time to change the sliders. I'm going to go with 4g sliders this time since I've noticed the revs stay below the powerband until around 50-60km/h.
