Post polini big evolution 94cc
Hello, so this is a project motor I'm putting together just for fun. What carb would you recommend running with this kit. I seen someone using a 33mm carb with one but I think that's a little too big, I was thinking more along the lines of 28mm. I was even thinking I might be able to get by with a 21mm. Just thought I'd get more opinions. Also what about gears I usually run 14/42 but would the 13/43 or 13/44 get more top end. Thanks for any input. And it'll be running the Malossi la furia rossa with 08 taller gears.

I typically say the bigger carb the better. It'll just come down to jetting it proper afterwards. 28 should be fine though but having a larger one with the gear change may be advisable. I never got the deep into my scoots though. As far as brands go, I've only ever used Dellorto, or the stock Mikuni carbs. These days though as long as you stick with a name brand you should be fine.
