Post Speeding up my 2015 Vino 50
I believe the Vino 50 should actually be able to hit 50. Right now, this little fuel injected bike maxes out at 40mph. My initial plan is to buy taller gears and a Malossi variator to be able to tune my low-end back in. The gears I found are Athena 57115 (https://www.mxmegastore.com/athena-gear ... FcQAvD_BwE) but I have no real way of knowing if they're the right ones. I haven't found anything online that specifies what gears go on the Vino 50, but saw a youtube video of a guy putting gears that look identical to these on a fuel injected Vino.

Do you guys think I can get away with just these mods to get me to (or past :) ) 50mph?

The 2 stroke can geared up with a variator and bbk kit up size tire can do 60
being light weight helps alot .
You need to trick the rev limiter with bigger ratios with tires variator and then gears.
But with a 4 stroke having enough to push the gears would be the hard part it may take 5 mile to get there.
You might need to kit it but isnt cheap There is a recent build on a zuma that hits 54 but but they have taller tires nad gears then you will be able to build to

I'd really want to add a bbk to it, but the cost is astronomical. There is a 60cc kit out there for $100, but I'm not sure it's worth it. This is the only kit that I 100% know would work with the stock head. The 70cc and 75cc I'm not sure is compatible with the stock head. Also, I belive all of these kits require a fuel controller, which runs about $200. I think adding variator and gears would get me to 55, but might kill my acceleration and make the scoot too lame to ride. The big question I guess is DO I NEED THE AFTERMARKET HEAD FOR THE 70CC KIT? The site where they sell it strongly suggests it, but doesn't say it's mandatory. Would the water jacket match up? No idea....

when you add all up cost of mods with all the minimum tuning parts
kit 300 -500
variator with weights 100
gears 100
$500-700
and possibly another $200 for fuel controller

No replacement for displacement
A stock 50 2 stroke or 4 stroke less than 5 horsepower they can push through wind to about 40 mph
a 125 has closer to 10 horsepower and pushes 55 .
Gear ratios help but you only at best 1/4 to 1/2 potential because of wind resistance .

If a kit costs a 100 bucks and all the rest are 3 -5 times as much just pass you will want to buy better parts to get results .

Which site are you thinking of buying from ?
Some are very good at giving the right advice and others just make you flush money.

A good cvt tune should get you to the mid 40s, getting that motor anything past 47mph takes too much work and isn’t worth it. Those Athena gears are for a different bike and the Malossi gears that are available are for a big bore kit only.
