going to mount fake muffler?
would be cool to put a male plug end into the muffler tip
then when you charge it the cord plugs into it

I might depends on weight.

I found a picture of a stock yamaha vino 125 and compared it to the clearance I have with my rear wheel and mud guard it looks like I'm either dead on or very close I should have checked the stock clearance before I took it a part but it dosen't matter as theres plenty of room and nothing hits even when I jumped up in down on it.

Everything is welded on not the best looking welds but they held I've jumped on the bike and none of my welds broke feels a lot stiffer with 2 shocks then it ever did with single shock.

Right now I'm doing the 12v electrical getting rid of all the engine wiring and having just the wiring for the lights.

I'm going to be doing the battery box next and then it's getting the measurements and getting the battery made.

I've got almost all my 12v electrical done.

I can't seem to figure out how to make my brake light switch work I've got running light but no brake light not sure why.

Post Re: converting yamaha vino 125 to electric
Just a little update I finished the bike it worked really well I parked it at a store for maybe 5mins and came back and it was gone.

I only got to ride the bike once before it got stolen but I ended up getting the frame of the bike back it was stripped down to the frame all my hard work and money spent gone but I've got the frame and the vin I'm looking at buying a DOT aproved electric scooter from japan thats able to do the same speed as the electric vino 125 that I built witch was around 80km/h and have the vin changed to the one from my old yamaha vino 125 so it will live agian.

And because I had insureance on it I got about half of what I spent on building the bike back I could have gotten more but I wanted the frame back to start another build with I took a loss of $1000 witch oddly enough is what I paid for the bike.

I couldn't bring my self to letting it go because the bike and I both share the same brith month witch if I wanted to replace it I don't think I could so in my mind it's a one of a kind I know theres more out there but thats like looking for a needle in a pile of hay.

that sucks
wonder if they rode it away or threw it in a truck

probably be disappointed its electric since it looks like a gas scooter

but would be easy to spot if someone was riding it with a different paint job
