Interesting that the Vino125 cannot run with the cvt cover off ... I DIDN'T KNOW THAT !!
What were you talking about ?? Some sort of oil plug, oil seal ... to be able to do that ??

Yeah the guys at jiangwayne.com mention it in their one of their pulley kit listings here: http://jiangwayne.com/scooter/p_i.php?i=23

Now I'm curious, so I am going to email them on it tonight, and ask them to send me a picture of the device. If its what I think it is, it'll be a plate that utilizes some of the hex screws that are used to hold on the regular transmission case that plug up the fill and vent hole to the oil level view window. It'd be simple enough to fab one up, its just a matter of whether or not one exists on the market. Heck if its cheap enough, I'd order one and get it installed on my scoot as soon as it arrives.

Quote:
If you want to play with pulley, rollers, & clutch on Vino 125,
you do need Oil Blocks to void the oil sparging problem;
When you open the transmission case, engine oil will sparge from 2 oil windows,
we do not think you have 2 extra hours for only 30 minutes transmission works:
Release Engine Oil + Waiting for it Dry-out + Do the Transmission + Refill Oil = 2 hours,
please email us to purchase one.

I agree !! !! I've never seen one ... never heard that it existed ... SO WE'LL NEED PICTURES !! !!

The email is away, so now we'll just have to wait and see.

I have an '08 Vino 125 with over 20,000 miles of fun on it. But since it is completely stock except for removal of the emissions crap, there really isn't much to talk about. I have been neglecting it lately, since I got my new Zuma 125.

I'm here. 2009 red Vino 125, 2,000 miles right now and had it just over a year. Wife bought it for $1300 with 840 miles on it and 4 years old. I do all the riding and I think the wife just bought it for me. Great scooter and it gets 84mpg average and will do 60mph verified by GPS on the level. It has the factory windscreen.
