I was eyeing your vendor thread earlier, and anticipating the weight report. Thanks a ton.

I think that'll be my choice when it comes time to replace the battery.

Looks like there's enough room for two in the compartment. One for a backup since we don't have a kickstarter?

yeah there's enough room for 2
and if you just leave it there without using it,
it only lost 10% of charge a year (from their website)

so if your a baller put in 2 but they are pricey

I have thought about getting one myself. Not sure I would ever need two batteries on my scoot but I have thought about using the extra space for a spare plug and a couple of simple tools.

Post Re: New battery! Ballistic Battery
for me it would be the lithium
they hold the charge way better if you dont run the engine alot
I dont care about the size myself

I have many bikes so they all end up sitting around for months at a time but I have to keep them all on tenders

so the cost of those new batteries right now keeps me away from buying them, all the money ive invested on tenders for each bike solves the problem of sitting around

oh ok there supposed to hold a charge longer i would be interested to see some real world testing on these and see if they actually work any better in the long run i guess im lucky i have never had a battery issue my original battery died after like 3 months but i had a scooter that sat for a long time and probably never got run in the showroom but they gave me a new interstate battery and havent had an issue it will sit for months in the winter time and fires right back up in the spring time i dont even own a charger that will work on a motorcycle battery but i might have to look into one now
