Post Yellow Headlight Glass?
I saw a pic somewhere on here of somebody's Zuma 125 that had one yellow headlight and one clear (regular). Anybody know where to get/how to do this mod? Thanks.

I believe it's just a yellow bulb in the housing reflecting off the reflectors

Maybe, but I could have sworn that the scoot was parked and not running in the pic of the Z125 that I saw. That's what makes me think the lens was yellow.

Its a ghetto way to do it but you can get stained glass paint in any color. Its also cheap and available at almost any hardware store.

You're probably right. That would be a nice inexpensive way to go, too.

Stained glass paint would work.I know about it because in my younger days we would paint car tail lights all red. That gives some heat, not as much as a headlight I guess. If you didnt like it you could most likely take it off with paint thinner.

on ebay, do a search for "headlight film"
Real cheap, and its the cool yellow, like fog lights, not amber.

OP - I haven't had any luck locating the picture you are talking about. Do you remember where you saw it? I am just curious to see what it looks like, because I'm actually kind of interested in doing it myself.

I researched it after I started this thread. I think it's a great looking mod, but it's not legal in my state. Check out your state laws.

To know more about glass and all the related things, you have to read the valuable sources. For example, glassstructureslimited.com is the nice glass structures company which also provide informative pages on their site.
