Post Re: Welcome 125 owners
Hey guys! Just picked up a 2014 Zuma 125 last week and already having a ball on this thing! I've got a Yamaha FZ1 for long distance and sport riding, but this little thing is a lot of fun! Looking forward to getting more immersed in the So Cal Zuma community.

Hi guys...bought a 2013 Zuma 125 about 2 months ago. Loving it. Can't wait to add mods. I ride with a group in the inland empire. Zuma keeps up nicely stock. I also ride it to work 30 mile round trip. I spend like $8 a week for gas ...lol. Anyway just wanted to introduce myself.

Just put down a deposit on a 2012 Zuma 125 with zero miles, and picking it up Friday. I've been looking at getting one for a while and just couldn't resist the price. Is there anything I should be aware of (maintenance wise) since the scoot was sitting at the dealer for 2+ years?

I've had mine for a while too. Thinking about the stretch kit but I see no plans in the future just yet.

Just bought a new 2013 Zuma 125. New to scooters and this board. A few weeks ago I bought a new Ruckus for my wife. I am 260 lbs and I needed more power. I think the Zuma 125 is just right me.

Good morning!! Just joined with a 2009 Zuma 125. Found with 2800 miles for $1850(for reference). All stock with rear trunk. Excellent visible shape. Obviously garaged. Runs great. The downside is it's unknown maintenance history :-( I hope I don't regret this decision. I've got tons of forum reading to do!

Are there more riders or groups in SW FL?

as long as it has the correct oil amount in it
you will be fine
your mileage is so low even the oil would be fine if it was in there from break in

I would just change the oil, and gear oil and do all the basic maintenance checks on it and keep good records
it is time to check the valves
checking is pretty easy to do yourself with a few tools

Thank you for the tips ZUMIKE!!
I haven't had a chance to do anything to it yet other than look at it sitting in the garage. I can't wait! After the basic checks, from what I've read a bbk is the way to go.
