Post Injector will not spray fuel mist [Bike will not start]
I just joined the forum and havent seen a post similiar to what is going on with my bike. I just purchased a Zuma 125 2009 3 weeks ago. YAY! unfortunatley it doesnt want to start. I went ahead and changed the oil, new spark plug, new battery, new fuel injector, new fuel pump and flushed the gas that was in the tank. Still it doesnt not want to start. Here is what I found out so far. I took the fuel injector out of the fuel line, the fuel leaks slowly. I turn on the bike to the ON position and the fuel flows really fast. I know that the new fuel pump is working. I took the injector off and tested it with a 12v battery and some fuel line and it sprays mist. I know that new fuel injector is working fine. I tested the spark plug with a screw driver and I see a spark against the frame.

This is the issue...When I put the fuel injector back into the fuel line, but not attached to the throttle body and turn the bike in the ON position. I turn the throttle and no fuel mist come thru the Fuel injector. Does anyone what could be causing this? If i spray starter fluid or fuel into the throttle body the bike starts. It just the fuel injector is not feeding/spraying fuel into the throttle to keep it going. The bike is stock no modifications. It was sitting for 4 years before I bought it. And yes I have the Kickstand up when I try to start it. I can hear it choking and not wanting to turn over cause there is no fuel going into the throttle body. HELP??!?!??!?!??

Moved to 125 boards
Are there any eco codes
Sounds like either no fuel to the injector or the injector isn’t hooked up

with the injector out and multi meter to injector. see if got voltage when you hit the start button.

if there is voltage but injector not working. check the two prongs on injector and two injector wires. it can be loose so crimp it tighter. also clean the metal prongs and connector for a better connection.

if don't have a voltage then it's something else not allowing a signal to reach the injector. check to see if the check engine light is flashing a code. check side stand switch, tilt switch, kill switch, fuse block, even pull the ecu out and plug back in. all this can lead to no signal and effect the injector.

another thing is when the engine is cranking over make sure the battery voltage is not dropping down to 10.5v or lower. this makes the fuel injection system all whacky and won't work properly. should be higher then 10.5v when cranking, you can use a booster battery or jumper cables to car battery to test this theory.
