DCR Motors Glove box install can be bought at Drowsports online

Here is the glove box

Align sides by hand used center punch to make guides for screw holes

Had to file out the top section so i could get the baggage hook to fit correctly

That's it it's all done, super easy to install minor modification for baggage hook. Good times, I hope this helps you guys if you decide to go with this glove/storage box.

lot more storage than the little flimsy box we get from yamaha.

edit: the right side shows a gap. how is the bottom edge?

that's cause it was missing the screws, i had to unbolt everything to file away on the baggage hook. No gaps.. .I can post tomorrow at work in the day light, if you request. :patriot:

6'1" 204lbs, plenty of leg room i ride mostly on the rear of the seat.

installed this recently and loving it. much better storage and more solid than the yamaha unit. dropped in the phone (with case), wallet, camera and gloves without worrying about things flying out. much more stable. wish i'd had this all along.

edit: my only complaint was that it came with 5 screws for 6 mounting points. but i had other screws to make use of.

add a 12v socket inside of it and you can charge the phone too

was just a thought before the last trip to st louis. but found i had forgot to turn off the gps and found the phone was dead when i went to use it.

mine is on the key side on the wall
just inside the glove box cover
little hard to get to, but its not a big deal

keeps the left side open for drinks
