Post News from Scoot-tuning.com
Hey guys, we have worked on new stuff for the next season. We finally produce the first bolt on side stand for YW50 02-11, watch this:

http://www.scoot-tuning.com/BWS-Bolt-On-Lateral-Side-Stand-CHROME-p/st-stand_cr.htm

(The side stand for YW50F is in production now! Available soon!)

Also, we work on a fatty 6 and 7 inch wheel with a stretch kit for YW50 02-11. We have a picture here (wheel only):

https://www.facebook.com/scoottuningRT/photos/a.315237901906039.69357.312723805490782/727788803984278/?type=1&theater

We also worked on a swap kit for YW50F with a GY6 150cc. We put around 3000 miles on it last summer. The kit is 100% bolt on with engine, rear wheel, complete wiring, engine mount, exhaust, electrical part... the look is 100% bolt on and everything can be put back as OEM. We look to put this kit on the market for 999cad retail and with a 3000 miles guarantee if installed one of our dealer (a professional installation should be around 300-350$). I want to know if there's an interest on this kit in US?

Haha yeah I know what you mean, but when I said one of ''our'' dealer, it mean that we approved their work, those are real mechanic . But for sure we don't have dealer in every area, and we have customer that are enough qualified to make this kind of installation. But it would be hard to control though. But still, your reflexion is good and so, what about lowered the price, and remove the guarantee, this would be a lot easier, maybe the guarantee wouldn't be that much a good idea.

In fact, the guarantee idea came from the project customer. When he come to us, we made the project with his GY6 150cc (probable from Ebay). We made everything: bolt-on wiring, fuel pump bypass, engine mount, even bracket for new electrical pump. I had in mind to make a real kit that I can sell to other customer after. Everything was good, but his engine was so bad that we change almost everything on it, until we was so much pissed off that we decide to change the engine for the GY6 we sale here (a bit expensive but reliable). I was so sure that my job was good, I didn't care to give him a guarantee!

But giving a guarantee that the kit is 100% bolt on, this wouldn't a problem.

The rear wheel is already available (blank), we will have wheel with patern in about two week (extra 70cad). The rear hub in coming on next Tuesday. About the stretch kit, the production start on monday. Please figure about another 2 weeks (machining, welding, paint).

Rear wheel 6inch 193.99cad (no tire)
Rear Hub 159.95cad
stretch kit around 350-400cad

you will need tire 130/60-12 to 140-70-12
extended brake cable 14.95cad
extended carb cable and hose (work well with stage6 throttle cable)

the kit work well with normal and rear mount carburator, only cons, is that you cannot kett the 2 cables carburetor, but everything else is ok, even the stock airbox

Also, the stretch kit is ajustable for stock wheel, nitro/kiesler/stage6 5inch, 6inch and 7inch. With stretch as on the picture, or stetch (2-3inch more) and drop (not shown)

For sure with the exchange rate your in good position now too. And for US customer we will deliver from Champlain NY, so weshould be able to apply free shipping (not confirm yet).

Who makes the Hub & drum? Does the Wheel, bolt up against the hub. Or does it fit over a flange mount & the bolts hold them together.

Do you have any pics of the hub? Or any close up pics of how it's all mounted? Are there any mods that have to be done to the pipe for it to fit with the wide wheel?

The hub is our design. It's completely CNC with 3 bolt and 4 bolt mount. So you can put all 13inch popular scooter wheel (Nitro/Aerox/Kiesler/Stage6) or 6-7 inch rim. The engine mount is our design too and are made for:

stretch no offset (oem or 5inch wheel)
stretch 6inch wheel
stretch 7inch wheel
stretch 6inch wheel + drop
stretch 7inch wheel + drop

8inch will be possible but with some mod, and a 1inch spacer added on the hub.

I will also have the front end available to fit the rear rim. Wheel, rotor, caliper, caliper bracket. Everything is already done but we wait for production. And more than 75% is made in USA and Canada (there's still hope!)

I will get some pics this week :D
