Post New Tail light kit zuma 50 02-11
Hi guys, here's our new tail light kit. We are in production now. We look for a retail price around 127.95$ cad (around 100usd by those days). Hope you like it. There's a video to see the light works.

For sure we keep a little mud guard on it to cover the tank and frame braket and for licence plate. But we will have an another model that will have an under tail molded to it, this one wont have mud guard.

Very nice! Do you have a time frame for the unit sans mudguard?

Acutally we don't have any date, but because the main mold is already done, it shouldn't be that long. Figure out about a month from now.

Also, we are working on a front cover too, this one will be available in 1-2 week. But no pics for now ;)

Looks awesome! Assuming those are LEDs, will the kit come with any resistors or relays needed to make the conversion?

Anxiously awaiting the model with the underbelly. I'm sure that it'll look really good.

look at the link below the picture, there's a video. For sure if you don't have a LED relay, flasher will blink a bit fast. We have various Relay & resistor to solve this. These options will be offer when purchasing the tail.

for sure we use an existing tail light. BTW we also look for a cheaper version with maybe 2 round light or something like this. For lower budget

I am too. But I had to make a 100% bolt on first. Actually, we look for some options for the other version. Per example, if we cut the two metal frame part that retain the tail on the side, it gives a better look for the tail design, but I'm afraid customer could hesitate because of it. What do you think?

Yeah, having to cut things off the frame may turn people away. On the other hand, if it's an easy dremel job some people may not mind if it looks that much better. Tough call.

I'll say though, when people sell their Zumas ( :gonk: ) they often return them to stock and part out the performance parts. If cutting off whichever too frame tab thingy areas you're talking about makes that way more difficult you'll have a harder time selling. If you can still mount stuff back up just missing a couple screws, you'd be 100% in business, IMO.

Personally, I'll never sell my bike so if I like it, I'll hack the damn thing to pieces to use it. I want you to make it. But, I also understand what FScott says about some people wanting to return the bike to original condition. I truly hope that this doesn't stop you from making it though because there just isn't enough custom pieces for our Zumas. So please make it!

I think they're going to make it regardless. I think he's saying they just thought it could look even better with some things cut off the frame. I saying make it for SURE, because I am totally in for one without the mudguard regardless as well. I ain't ever selling my scoot either.

Count me in. Mines so far from stock now, what's a little trimming going to hurt.

For sure, I'll be running one of these setups by summer's end most definitely. Better looking than the Euro rear IMO, and I love it's already integrated.
