I'm still loving my Zuma - but I need more power. I'm willing to sacrifice a bit of fuel economy for more power. That being said, I want the Kawasaki Versys

I straddled a couple of these at my local dealer, and I'm in love

I personally would prefer the ER-6NImage

They look like a fun little ride.

I have always liked the look of this bike but I hate the name. In Japan it is sold as the Spider!

Wouldn't be hard to remove/paint over the name and just have it look like a badass bike that someone strapped an engine to! lol

Ever since I was young, I always wanted a V65 Sabre.

Funny thing is, I could sell my Zuma and buy one now, but they don't work well for commuting in town.

+1 That has been on my list of bikes to buy for a long while. I'd even settle for a V45.

Post Re: Other scooters and motorcycles you drool over!
Just came up today!

I was walkin' through my mother-in law's aunts garage and saw a taillight in the corner.
So... you know I had to take a closer look.

What did I find?

A Honda 450 scrambler all original with the blue and yellow plates. It is absolutely all stock with everything still on it.
I gave it once over and asked my mother in law who' it was. It just so happens that e aunt wa gonna give it to my father in law but he doesn't want it. She said it's all mine.

I'm goin' up next weekend to pick it up. It's sweet and if it's anything like my old Honda elite it should only need a carb cleaning or rebuild, an oil change and some basic maintenance to get it rolin'... fingers crossed. :q:

I believe it's a '72
http://www.motorera.com/honda/h0450/scr ... ramble.htm
just like the red 72 only dusty!

I'm droolin'

I do like the Thruxton a lot too. I wish I went with the Bonniville years ago. But I was talked into a sport bike by my friends. Most had R1's or GSX 750/1000, so I went with a TT600.

I loved the bike, but it was finicky.

I had either an 85-86 V65 sabre of the exact same color when I was 18. The only other color was the same besides the red stripe was blue instead. I loved it at the time. It was portly as hell with a dry weight of around 640 lbs and felt a bit too heavy until you got used to it. But it was a monster in the low rpm torque and fairly decadent revved out to 10k. It was supposed to compete with the VMAX but it never felt as fast as the VMAX. Loved the bike though. Wow that was 16 years ago.

Yes sir, it used the same block as the 1000cc interceptor. It was also used in the V65 Magna. Cool old bikes! Now if I could just get my hands on a Kawasaki H2 or a Suzuki GT 750.
