Post Re: My Helmet Selection!
I looked at that helmet at the dealership and it seemed kinda cheap; like it would bust apart into a million parts if dropped on the floor. I thought the LED light was the cheezness! so I didn't go with that one.

Thanks!

I might go terrorize Cherry Creek North today! Mwahahahaha! I can outrun and out maneuver those mall cops pretty easy!

Oh, forget it! I need to make sure I got everything running good mechanically first. I need to get a 94 jet (I think?) I'm running on a needle crutch right now (needle is high to compensate for small jet). I could run it on the choke but I don't want to do that.

I'm waiting on some dough to come through before the mod train can get going again.

I wear a Snell-rated Pyrotect that I used to use for autox/track days. It was cheap, its not the most aerodynamic thing in the world, but its higher rated than a DOT M helmet.

When are we going to organize a ride, Hya? Looks like the rest of the week after today will be crap. :(

We'll get one together soon. I need to figure out my delta clutch riddle.

For some reason my clutch is rubbing the bell and I have no idea why. The springs look ok but I think I'll put an order in for a new set anyway. I might just throw the reds back in there for today. I'm just getting kinda sick of pulling it apart over and over to check it out.

On another note I'll be out at the premier of Nightmare on Elm Street!

scooters and mods: I'm still a complete noob. I upgraded from a 2004 Zuma 50cc to a 2013 Zuma 125. There's a lot for me to learn.

Congratulations on your Icon helmet, Hyazuma. That looks really nice. Icon helmets have gotten really
expensive, so that price was a really good deal.

Are you still wearing this, or have you moved on to another helmet?

APRIL 2010 !! !!

IF Russ still has the helmet, the scoot is long gone (years ago)

So ... I guess that the $$cost$$ was a good deal ... 4 years ago.
