Post Cold Weather Under Garments
Went down to a local military surplus store and found these:

UNDERSHIRT, COLD WEATHER
100% POLYPROPYLENE
SPD100-02-D-5024
8415-01-227-9551
WIND GAP KNITWEAR, INC.

&

DRAWERS, COLD WEATHER,
100% POLYPROPYLENE
SP0100-90-D-EB07
8415-01-227-9546
PECKHAM VOCATIONAL INDUSTRIES

The top has knit cuffs and a zip-up turtleneck like collar that is tall enough for the longest neck (hence it will fit up under the helmet) and a long tail. The material is heavy with a fleece like interior and a smooth finished exterior.

The bottoms are of the same material, close fitting with an elastic waist band and knit cuffs at the ankles.

Being MilSpec both are extremely well made. While warm outdoors, they are not uncomfortable inside at 70 degrees (F).

For the fashion conscious, they only come in one color, Army OD green.

If you do decide to get a set of these make sure you read the washing instruction tag.

I need some cold weather stuff. Rode home from work, a 5 minute commute, and froze my :butt: off when it was 50 degrees.

It was 13 degrees last winter, with a 4 degree wind chill. That's cold........alot colder up In the Grand Canyon area though, and Flagstaff AZ. Alot of people don't realize how cold the high desert can get during the winter. Small towns like this are wide open to the ice-cold wind, snow, rain...not many buildings to slow the wind down. I was living 1000 feet higher in elevation last year. Bone chilling cold!

Here is an old scan of a photo album of our house in Juneau, one bitter winter.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

I lived in upstate New York for 15 years. We've had several winters with 3-4 feet of snow. I can handle -30 degree temps pretty well.

Oldguy kind of looks like a brown version of Santa in those pictures. I have indeed looked at some fancy winter motorcycle jackets, but I think they're all designed for men. I need something with a bit of- cuteness.
