Post Riding in shorts? Problem!
Alright I know riding in shorts isn't the safest thing to do, but I do it anyways (in the summer time it's way to effing cold right now).

Anyways I HATE when my shorts catch the wind and raise / ride way up on my leg. I wear below knee length shorts.. What do you guys do about this? Kinda random but I got some pretty white legs, I really don't care much, but if it can be avoided...

doesn't matter what the summer temps are. i always have jeans and boots when i ride. road rash sucks. leave the shorts at home when riding.

if they are below your knee, are they really shorts?

Road rash does suck and i've had it before. I know the consequences I take when I wear shorts when I ride.

I hate pants for the most part, but I do think some jeans are pretty cool and stylish. When I said I wear my shorts below the knee I didn't mean that I'm some gangster thug who has my shorts down to my ankles.

For example, I'll wear shorts to the gym which is only like 8 miles away from my house. Like I said, I hate when they ride up mid thigh when they catch wind. It's a little embarrassing cause I got some pretty white legs haha. I don't care that much cause I still rock shorts, I was just wondering if anyone has maybe had the same problem and found some kind of clever solution.

I wear cargo shorts. The extra pockets make them a little stiffer and no problem.

I was going to suggest pink panty hose worn outside the shorts, but I guess that is too similar to Nick's suggestion of pink tights.

You could always use some velcro straps, and wrap them around the bottom of the shorts. I've done this when I ride a bicycle in jeans, that way the bottoms wouldn't get wrapped up in the chain, but I think it could be used to keep your shorts from riding up.

99% of the time I fight the urge to wear shorts.

I just think that I'm safer that way ...

We used to have some ALL THE EQUIPMENT...ALL THE TIME guys.
I'm not that bad but, I've torn up the skin on my knees and elbows before. Hurts some.

If i'm wearing some baggy shorts, I have the same problem, I've tried to just kinda tuck them under my knee's a little bit to try to get them to not catch the air. other than that, just be proud of your extreme white guy tan and be happy that it is warm enough to wear shorts!
