Post Black Ash Motorcycle Pants Review
Hi all, I decided to check ebay again for some motorcycle pants i had seen a while back made by a company called Black Ash.

With shipping to my place they cost approx 90$ Canadian.

Here are some of the features as listed on the ad.

5 front pockets

3 with zip waterproof fastening and 2 with large velcro flaps and release tags

Left hand large pocket has 2 pen holders and credit card zip mini pocket

Fully enclosed zip fly area which is totally enclosed to ensure fully watertight in this leak vulnerable area

Stud fastening zip guard

Twin adjustable velcro belts permanently fixed...never lose another!

Stretch elastic side waistband

2 side zip up ventilation pouches

Reinforced saddle area pad 8"

YKK zip fitted on high back rear waist for jacket attachment

Warm zip out padded, insulated, quilted lining, Can be removed for warmer weather.

Fully armoured in knees and hips with high back waist band for extra comfort.

10" YKK calf & ankle zips with release tags

I bought a size 34 (i normally wear 32-33) so i could wear them over top of some shorts or another pair of pants and it fits pretty snug, especially if you keep the quilted liner in. If you wear them just as pants they fit to their advertised size.
The pads are hard foam plastic inserts that are surely more for abrasion then for impact but they do seem to be decent. I don't know if they come in leather but since my jacket is cordura i decided to keep the same look to match. Hoping to get the scoot out sometime in the next few weeks and i'll be riding in some fairly cold weather so I'll let you guys know how warm they are in riding situations when i get the chance.

All in all, i'm happy with my purchase! :)
