Post Re: Welcome 125 owners
Good day. I got my new 2014 Zuma 125 two weeks ago. I live in Avalon, a town that's one square mile with a 20 mph speed limit. The Zuma is great over here. There are 20 to 30 Zumas on the island.
Have a great day.
Mike

Post Re: Welcome 125 owners
Well I am the owner of a 2014 Zuma 125 Orange as of last week Thursday, I have a whole 6 miles on it and enjoy riding it. I downgraded from a kawasaki Vulcan because I needed to pay some bills off. I haven't done anything to it, just waiting on my electrical supplies to get to install the back off xp tail light module and put my tender leads on the battery for winter time.

Sup, guys. Just bought my wife a new Zuma 125. Pretty cool little Scoot. Seems like there's a lot of good info here. Think I'll stick around...

Yo zumike this is a bit off topic but I'd like to knowyour opinion about steering damper. I am putting a steering daamper kit together that requires zero cutting of plastics. It will be top mounted located just next to the handlebar. It will come with custom cncd brackets fans damper will either be an ohlins brand. Do you think there will be interest from the z125 community?

Post Re: Welcome 125 owners
as for interest probably depends on price if its an easy install like your saying
because most want bolt on parts

what type of a damper are you thinking the linear or rotary type?

Ive seen linear dampers on ebay pretty cheap because ohlins im sure is more expensive because of the brand name
not sure on the length but this is similar to the one I use http://www.ebay.com/itm/161749231533?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

I have seen one recently that tied into the bws headlight guard and went to the fork it didnt look like anything was cut but I just had a glance at it from far away
but im not sure if thats compatible with the zuma headlight guard

Once I'm done creating the brackets on the cnc people will be able to use any linear damper. Once I'm done with the sketch on solidworks CAD I will show you and you'll be like dang that's simple.

make sure to choose the correct length damper
there are a few lengths available mine is about 2 inches too short
so I loose some steering

but I have found longer ones that may be the perfect length, but for me im fine with what I have and its not an issue
I can not use my steering lock anymore because its short
