Post Need help asap. Vino only goes up to 40 mph.!!!!!
So after a 45 ride with my friend, on the way back home my Vino 125 tops out at 40 mph. I didn't hit any potholes or other objects on the road. I also noticed my pick up is slower than usual. I'm new to scooters and any help is greatly appreciated. Vino only has about 1,000 miles if that. What are some of the things I should check that could cause this problem??

Maybe the clutch is hot and you are experiencing clutch fade.

Is this an 08 Vino?

What year? Are you sure it is a 125???

If this is an 08 Vino with only 1000 miles.... take it to the dealer ASAP.

I highly doubt tire pressure will slow u down so much. i'm sure u could tell its tire pressure . u'd be wobbling all over the road

prob its ur ail intake came loose and ur engine is not getting the right amount of air..
or something else..

yea, I also posted this on scootertime and provo as well. Imma look over all the things that was discussed and hopefully it shouldn't be anything big or serious. Well, the Vino was purchased used from private seller so I dont think warranty still exist.

is it an 08 or not??? if it's not been over a year since purchase you have warranty regardless of if it was purchased used...

Partially true. The warranty does transfer BUT the "warranty transfer papers" need to be signed. This rarely happens rendering the warranty useless.

when I got my 07 Vino it would not go past 40 for the first 300 miles or so by the time I got 1K miles on it, I was able to get 55-60 out of it

Really??? I took mine on a test run from the dealer with only 3 miles on it. I told him I wouldn't buy it unless it did atleast 55...well it did. 10,000 miles later I can hit 60 on flats no problem...still stock.

I got mine used a few weeks ago and it only has 527 miles on it and will get up to 63mph. Almost time for that first oil change. Love it, but usually only ride between 45 and 50mph. It's an 08.
