Gonna pull the trigger and buy the yasuni R, a new clutch bell and springs, new Contra and new yamaha belt.

I am just confused what size my clutch and bell is since it is a 3-shoe. Anyway to measure them?

Also what type of springs and contra springs will fit my clutch? I am buying from scooter-attack as they are cheaper than scootertuning.ca.

Contra:

clutch springs:

Inside diameter of your clutch bell is either 105 mm or 107 mm when you measure it .
The clutch inside is just a little smaller around .

I would call them to make sure the mbk/nitro clutch springs for malossi is what I bought for my zuma .
They do not fit my two shoe clutch but fit my 3 shoe clutch.

The polini springs fit both the 2 shoeand 3 shoe
model 243.093 close to stock and 243.094 one notch stiffer

I have the polini clutch springs for original clutch model u245.030

I have the polini evo slider that comes with the polini ccontra springs it has the same effect of keeping the spring from binding .
It does make the spring tighter not quite to the next class up in spring but up a notch.
Have fun with that pipe .
The stock clutch with new springs will work fine with a new bell .
You are doing the biggest 3 bang for the buck bbk, gears and pipe .

Yes currently sourcing some money to be able to buy it. Btw just curious but with your next-r did it ever push over 10k rpms at all? Or did you just roll the revs back as it rised up? You stated it peaks around 9.8k rpms so just wondering if your speed is being limited by the pipe or idk what.

Also I am thinking I can maybe hit 60mph but not sure if possible at 10k rpms even with a tall upgear.

It did rev that high with weights that were too light it had no power there .
9300-9500 is where power peaks and falls off if I have the weights in the right range and I hit Top speed.
The speed is limited because the malossi and pipe combo doesnt rev with power past mid 9s.

The other major limiting factor is just wind resistance .
This weekend I played with the oversized variator it is 5% larger than the polini one I used all kinds of weights,
My speed barely changed maybe 1 mile on the top end .Theoretically I should have 3-4 mph .
Just like gears theoretically I should be already be above 60

Ok awesome. I am just confused on what contra to get though. I called yamaha and they wanted 78 dollars for a stock contra. Even the guy himself was surpised by the high price. Anyways I do not know what colour spring to get. I know that the white malossi one is close to stock https://www.scooter-attack.com/malossi- ... w0-39.html but I am not sure as I have seen other peoples builds have yellow and even red malossi contras. Mind helping me choose thanks.

Just did some calculation and it is going to cost roughly 380usd for everything i.e. ultra copper RTV, pipe, contra, clutch springs, shipping, plugs, belt, bell and dremel.

Just checked my max RPMS the stock pipe is limiting me to and I am getting 6.2k rpms max at 67kmh. I think the stock pipe I have right now is either clogged or the stock pipes are just terrible

I have just done a bit more research and knowing that I am not going to be upgrading the crankshaft, there is no reason for me to pay extra for the yasuni-r.

I want to be around 9.5-10k rpms sustained with the stock crank and an alternate pipe that surpasses the yasuni-r is the LV TT.

Refering to this picture https://www.pedparts.co.uk/c/asset/spor ... -Sport.png ; and knowing the stage-6 MKII BBK is similar to an athena kit ( both are 1 ring pistons) I am better off going with the TT. Sure if I was thinking about a crank upgrade then a yasuni r would be better as it heads into the 10HP range at 11k rpms.

I am now going to be sourcing a TT pipe with is roughly about 70 dollars cheaper than the yas-r.

Your pipe is crap
stock pipes get you in the mid 8's
Any pipe will be a big upgrade
That alone geting just to 9 k which I know the Athena does with Stock pipe would be 30% increase in speed .
The nice part is you broke the kit in without a screaming pipe .
The white is ok I am running it right now yellow is ok the red is way to much for my build .
If right now you can climb hills ok and when you let off the throttle and you get back on it you accelerate instead of bogging you would only need the white .
The malossi torsion controller does work well and makes the white work better .

What I mean the torsion controller makes it work better it is similar to polini evo slider it keeps the contra from binding.
But it also preloads the spring tension so it makes the white a notch tighter not quite to the yellow .
For the extra 14 bucks just buy both white and yellow .

I cant seem to find any malossi torsion controller on scooter-attack but I have found multiple poli torque sliders with different diameters. I am not sure which one to get as I do not know the malossi white torque spring diameters 3.6-4.1mm

https://www.scooter-attack.com/torque-s ... 93-39.html

I can choose between 3.6 or 3.8mm as they are suitable for the zuma but not sure which one to get.

Here is what I am buying. Mind checking it is all good before I go and buy it? I am not getting the belt in the picture, just going to go with a brand new stock one.
