Post Zummya
He guys and gals! I will be kinda joining the club and picking up something that sorta resembles a 2010 zuma 125 tomorrow but it needs some work. Not sure if it will just end up being a parts bike but I will be rolling a zuma one way or another. And considering Ive never even owned a scooter and its condition I will be needing all the help I can get. Its a hell of a deal I simply couldn't pass up though. I getting both the zuma and the other Chinese bike in the picture for 150.

Now that is a lot of work to do. I recommend working only on the zuma and maybe just use the Chinese bike for donor parts if anything is even compatible.

Nice project .
I gotta agree with Tassy .
Yamaha and Honda are so much easier to source parts .

The taiwan brands sym kymco genuine pgo and piaggio also have a good support network.

I would avoid brands that you cant get access to any dealer sometimes a couple beers with a tech is all you need to get you on the right path if you are stuck.

I totally agree and will maybe only ever mess with the Chinese one if I can get the zuma running/completed. I will be starting the project soon and definitely make a thread in the build section. It was cool he ended up having all of the missing parts from the photo to. Seat, bucket, plastics etc. And its pretty low mileage also with 2300 mi on the odometer. He claims everything powers up fine when hooked up to a battery to.
Also would you guys know of any good threads related to troubleshooting?

The service manual is the best for troubleshooting. Near the back it tells you the issues that could be causing something not to work. I highly suggest you download it from here and read over it.
